Held annually, the Symposium brings together some 200 participants
from business, the environmental community, and the public sector to
discuss issues concerning the environment, economics, and public policy.
Topics have included water and air quality issues; land conservation;
corporate environmental mentoring; and growth
in South Carolina. The Symposium is also the occasion for the
presentation of the Governor’s Pollution Prevention Awards.
The
Institute for Public Service and Policy Research will be sponsoring
an open forum for the poster session for all environmental workers
at the annual South Carolina Environmental Symposium. We are
inviting abstracts in any filed of environmental research, policy or
